All Black Family Day
The only day my family ever gets together (church and dinner afterwards) is Sunday, and we always end up looking like we’re going to a funeral. Heh. Anyway.
Last Sunday my mom decided we needed a proper family photo to put on postcards and to put in a big fanceh frame on our walls (my sister’s house, my house, and my parents’) now that they finally have a grandchild (my sister gave birth almost a month ago to a luffly little girl) and we’re all married (cept for my kid brother, who’s already thinking about it but he can’t get married until like 10 or so more years or else everyone’s going to kill him.)
We all dressed up in black, gray or white and went to a proper studio and had our photos taken. 
Honestly I was kinda worried my purple hair would throw everyone off, lol. But my whole family’s being awesome about my crazy hair changes so no one made a fuss. Except probably the people who’re gonna get the postcards, who’ll go “EH, WHY DOES THIS GOOD CHRISTIAN FAMILY HAVE THIS HEATHEN BOHEMIAN HIPPY WOMAN, TSK TSK TSK” or something to that effect. BLEH.
I don’t have the studio photos yet but here’s a couple shots I took with my camera outside the studio because the mall had a nice Christmas display. My mom took one look at the sparkly decor and insisted we needed to have an impromptu photo sesh.
It’s actually kind of crazy how thin my sister is only 3 weeks after her pregnancy!!! She looks great!

My bassist has decided that he needs to have aqua/turquoise hair ala Jared Leto, so he’s coming over to my house tomorrow afternoon so I can dye it for him. I’m pretty excited to experiment on his head.
I wonder if I should put up a salon and market it this way: Y UR REGULAR SALON NO BLEACH OR DYE CRAZY COLOR HAIR? WE DO!
